While it's hard to say if it works incredibly I really enjoy adding a little more structure to winding down at night and it tastes really nice. It really has a lemon cake taste with a hint of blueberry. It almost has a creaminess I appreciate. I'd recommend going an oz over with the water because it can be a bit grainy otherwise. I do feel like my sleep gets interrupted less and gives a calming feeling as it takes effect.
I'm really enjoying this Blueberry Lemon AFK mix. It's got a nice strong blueberry flavor balanced perfectly with a lemon flavor it's sweet and tangy with notes of yellow cake that bring everything together at the end. Full poins for flavor It's a solid 10/10 would drink it again!
Let's talk texture, though; there is a lot of Magnesium in here. Magnesium is not water-soluble, so it can't dissolve. You end up with some white powdery stuff in the bottom of your glass. It's kind of got a chalky texture and no taste. It's also the primary ingredient that does the sleep magic, so don't waste it. I'd recommend you shake your cup often and get this stuff in suspension so you get your dose while you enjoy the flavors. I shake my AFK in my Wifu cup before every swig.
Lastly, I'm not sure if this helps me sleep better at all. It doesn't keep me awake or give me extra energy. So, at worst, it doesn't do anything but taste good and give me a good dose of Magnesium. It sure beats taking a standalone Magnesium supplement, so I'm a big fan of these AFK mixes!
It is smooth and has an amazing flavor that I love drinking every night. It doesn’t make me overwhelmingly sleepy, but is wonderful in making me feel rested in the morning.
I like blueberry and lemon flavors so this was my first AFK choice. However the flavors didn't really pop, it was more like drinking juiced cake, the little hints of blueberry and lemon it does have kinda gets mushed together. On the bright side, the colors of this drink is pretty, it's like a night blue sky with shimmering yellow stars. Smells like bubblegum too.
As for the sleep aid aspect, it doesn't make a person sleepy, however once you do sleep, it knocks you out fast and instantly it's already morning. It's great when I get nervous at night.
The taste is amazing and really helps me fall asleep at night.
