Having grown up where yerba mate originates from I've always been kind of a snob about anything mate related. I reccomend to anyone who has never had mate to let it in boiling water for about 10/15 minutes and then in a cup mix it with some milk with about a 60/40 tea/milk ratio, add some honey and voila you have a traditional Paraguayan cocido
They are so yummy and sweet... Mhmmmmm Mhmmmm!
Its very tasty and easy to make in the cup! Perfect to have a few just in case!
