A few things for and against this one. On the plus side, it really does taste like a strong black currant tea. If you like the flavour, you'll love this stuff so long as you water it down. That said, you can mix it with actual black tea, and drink it hot/warm.
On the down side, it doesn't mix well with very many flavours, and the colouring will stain just about anything.
Get the caffeinated version as you need the slight bitterness to taste exactly like the blackcurrant cordial/squash.
Caffeinated Ribena....best flavour ever.
Really enjoy this flavor, both by itself and mixing it with others I like such as Sigma Brain. Always enjoy a cup or two on my days off when gaming. 10/10!
